HOWE EVENTFUL HAS A NEW CAPTAIN - A MESSAGE FROM BRIAN HOWE, OUR FOUNDER.

After nearly eight incredible years since its launch on June 9, 2017, Howe Eventful is entering 2025 with exciting changes and a bright future ahead. I’m thrilled to announce that starting January 1, 2025, John Ski, our talented Events Coordinator, will be stepping into the role of owner and primary leader of Howe Eventful.

‍

While John takes the helm as the new captain of the ship, I will remain in the background as a consultant, offering support with administrative tasks and guidance during this transition. John’s leadership, passion, and fresh perspective make him the perfect choice to carry Howe Eventful into its next chapter.

‍

This decision comes from a deeply personal place. Howe Eventful began as a way to manage my work as an independent DJ after coming out of semi-retirement from the sale of my previously owned company, Pure Energy Events. Howe Eventful quickly evolved into something much larger (than me), fueled by incredible demand and supported by a phenomenal team and industry peers. I realized that limiting its growth wouldn’t do justice to the amazing people and opportunities connected to it.

Like many of us, the events of 2020 reshaped my outlook and priorities. While the world has reopened, my energy and drive to “hustle” at the same pace have shifted. Howe Eventful deserves fresh energy, and John is exactly the kind of leader to provide it.

As for me, I’ll continue DJing on a smaller scale, focusing primarily on dance party events with fewer formalities. I need to put more attention to my other business ventures outside the events industry. It’s time for me to step back and let the next generation lead with renewed vigor and vision.

I couldn’t be prouder of John’s journey. He has been an indispensable part of Howe Eventful’s growth, earning the trust and respect of our industry peers. I know he’ll take this business to new heights, and I can’t wait to see him thrive in this role.

To my cherished industry friends, peers, and family: Thank you for your unwavering support over the years. You’ve been my rock through every stage of this journey. While I’m taking a step back, I’m not disappearing. You’ll still see me around, and I’m always just a call or message away.

This industry and its incredible people mean the world to me. Although I can no longer give it the same level of focus, my love and respect for it remain unchanged. Here's to a bright future for Howe Eventful under John’s leadership and to the enduring connections that make this industry so special.
